I recently heard an interview on NPR with Morgan Freeman.  The interviewer was asking Mr. Freeman how he approached his work.

Freeman: "I'm offstage now, the moment doesn't live with me. Onstage, switch on; offstage, switch off."

Simple Living

As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness.

The Long Run

Every morning in Africa a gazelle wakes up.  It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.  Every morning a lion wakes up.  It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.  It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle.  When the sun comes up, you better start running.  An African Proverb
